Hosted by Zoe Klein and created in partnership with LOOP Wellbeing, The Reset Retreat blends the science of mental health with the art of embodiment.

Across seven days, you’ll experience yoga, surfing, stillness, nourishing food, and meaningful connection, the foundations of true wellbeing. This retreat is about returning to presence, vitality and the version of you that feels most alive.

Our home for the week is Lanka Yoga. The venue itself is one of a kind. Located on the water’s edge, offering a calm alternative to the sometimes hectic nature of the beachside locations. A peaceful lagoon-side sanctuary designed for rest and reflection. Open-air shala, gentle breezes, natural textures, and a pool that overlooks the water.

Everything here invites you to slow down.

November is shoulder season which means warm and mostly sunny weather, with less crowds. Enjoy the occasional afternoon shower which makes the yin practices that much sweeter.

MEET YOUR HOST:

Zoe Klein is a psychotherapist, yoga teacher and founder of LOOP Wellbeing, an integrative online therapy practice in Australia.

Her work bridges the science of mental health with the wisdom of the body. With over a decade of teaching experience and a deep understanding of emotional regulation and embodied living, Zoe’s classes move beyond postures. They’re a practice in presence, awareness and reconnection.

The Reset Retreat is where her two worlds meet: a week designed to restore your balance, inside and out.

This will be Zoe’s 6th return to Sri Lanka. She took a teaching job here in 2019 and fell in love with the culture, people and incredible food. It was here that she found the space to recognise what was truly important. She healed old wounds, got clear on her direction and knew that this was an experience that had to be shared.

Whether you’re craving rest, community, adventure, or a deeper relationship with yourself, this is your week.

the yoga:

Relish in twice daily practices with Zoe. You will receive personalised feedback, time to ask questions and work on stronger poses. The complete practice will be honoured with asana, meditation, pranayama, mantra and workshop style classes. All practices will be held in the purpose built open air yoga shala.

Grow & Flow: All morning classes. These vinyasa classes will be fluid, dynamic and breath based, with a sprinkle of workshop style education. Leave these practices feeling confident, clear and ready to soak up the day.

Rest & Realign: Afternoon classes will include a mixture of restorative/yin, breath work, meditation and psychotherapeutic journalling workshops.

Meals are fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced. For breakfast, lunch and dinner you will enjoy a Michelin chef designed Sri Lankan fusion menu. All meals are vegan and utilise as much local and home grown ingredients as possible. Think colourful breakfasts, nourishing plant-based lunches, and relaxed communal dinners that bring everyone together.

You’ll eat in a way that supports both your energy and your calm.

THE FOOD:

This reset goes far beyond yoga. Between classes, you’ll have space to explore, play, and unwind.

Wander the white-sand beaches, join an extra surf session, or take a local trip to Galle Fort, Unawatuna, or the nearby tea plantations. There’s plenty of freedom to do as much or as little as you like.

If surfing isn’t your thing, you’re welcome to skip it — we usually share a group surf on day one, and those who fall in love with the waves can keep surfing throughout the week.

You’ll also have the option to book an in-house massage with some of Sri Lanka’s most experienced hands.

We have three types of rooms. All prices are in AUD and per person. Your registration form will prompt you to let us know if you're travelling solo or in a group and if/who you would like to room share with.

We will allocate the rooms to the best of our ability on a first come first serve basis. Beds can be arranged into queen bed or twin singles.

Each room has an ensuite and an uninterrupted view of Koggala Lake. You’ll see nothing but green and blue, with the occasional crocodile, swarm of eagles, and other wildlife that will make it feel like you’re living in the middle of a national park.

  • You can fly directly from Melbourne Tullamarine (MEL) to Colombo International Airport (CMB) in roughly 10hrs via Sri Lankan Airlines. You can also fly indirectly via Malaysian and Singapore Airlines.

  • Inclusions

    Welcome gift pack; 6 nights accommodation at Lanka Yoga; 2 daily yoga classes including use of all props; Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner; 1 x Surf lesson including transport and board hire; Sri Lankan cooking class; Boat Tour of Kogalla Lake; Complimentary drinking water and tea; sustainable toiletries in bathrooms.

    Exclusions

    Flights to and from Sri Lanka, transfers to and from Colombo airport, travel & medical insurance, additional food and drink, massage, additional activities and transport.

  • Yes. You require a visa (application here). Ensure your passport has at least 6 months before expiry. We also require you to have travel insurance.

  • We welcome beginners however some yoga experiences is recommended. If you book far enough in advance, we recommend attending a few vinyasa classes in the lead up so that you start to get comfortable with the style.

  • It is roughly a 2hr drive from Colombo to the retreat venue in Habaraduwa and can cost somewhere around $90-$120. Depending on your arrival time, we can pair you up with other guests to share the ride. Otherwise, you can jump on a bus or train.   • Nope! The retreat is yours to customise as much or as little as you like.

  • Majority of our guests come solo. What a GREAT way to make new friends.

  • Please read our T&C's located at the bottom of the registration form for all information regarding COVID-19. Of course, the challenges of the unknown are ever present but I will work with you to the best of my ability to navigate difficult circumstances if they arise. In the event of the entire retreat needing to be postponed, your deposit will be automatically transferred to the new dates.
